Today I went for a BBQ with my clique at chins place! It was a pretty inpromtu outing. My friends aren't the planning type, usually it's 11pm the night before when we finally decide on a place. In fact, I think today was supposed to be adventure cove/gardens by the bay day but instead somehow a BBQ popped up. Wah I tell you ah! (I usually break into full-on singlish mode when I have something to complain about) this morning we were supposed to meet at nex at 11am but the M1 service was down!! We planned to meet at nex but it's such a big place.. When I got there I had no signal so I couldn't call my friends :( so I waited around the mrt entrance hoping for someone to turn up. Thank goodness Aziel showed up soon after la! If not I would have sat there like some loser for who knows how long.

So we went to NTUC to shop for groceries (: Everyone was grabbing their favourite foods and throwing it into the shopping basket. I like sausages and chicken and satay and Adele likes.. ..tofu.. Like what the shit who eats tofu at a BBQ. We thought the food wasn't enough but actually we bought too much food!! When we were buying drinks I headed straight to the soft drinks section (cos I like soft drinks plus BBQ usually have soft drinks what!) but all my friends were looking at the non-gassy drinks section. I got outvoted 6-1 so it was apple tea and ice lemon green tea for drinks :< but ok la it was pretty good.

Then we headed to chins house! We sat around to prepare the food before heading upstairs to the rooftop (: lol Hannah was late (she's always late) and cos of the m1 breakdown she couldn't call us and didn't know where we were. HAH WONG YOU DESERVE THAT WHO ASK YOU LATE. 

Everyone has this stereotype girls can't BBQ food since usually guys are the ones doing it but I'm proud to say our food turned out pretty good!! With the exception of one burned plate hahaha oh Chinyue. We made the crappy decision of having our BBQ at noon which really was the most bloody hot timing of the day. 

Tadah!! Except that it was really bloody hot and there were like really sudden heat waves from the grill. 

Hahaha Hannah and Adele are so cute in the Polaroids they look like they're on a roller coaster :') 

We played Starmaker too!! Which is a karaoke battle between two people. We forced Hannah and Adele to play since they don't really like to sing aloud and they chose Jai Ho wtf. I warned them it was the Hindi version, they didn't listen. It was so so so funny watching them struggle with the words and trying to be loud for bonus points hahaha. After more cooking and eating we decide to clean up as swim! Wah I just remembered something worth mentioning. There was this short period where Hannah and Chin were damn accident prone. It was like 5 accidents in a row. Spilling a drink, dropping food etc. I was a bit worried about sitting next to them.
