Hello! I wonder if anyone still reads this man. Blogging tonight cos prelims are over!! But that's just prelims and not the actual one sian. I think in general prelims were slightly easier compared to midyears. Midyears to me was a real killer.. September holidays just started so we have one week to pretend prelims never happened before they release the results when school reopens :( ANYWAY despite my mundane daily schedule of education I actually do have interesting things to blog about!

Sweet 16

I don't know why but even though I know I have great friends, every year I feel like nobody will remember my birthday. I mean, it's just a date in the calendar. How many people will bother to remember one day when there's over 300? Moreover, my birthday always falls during the exam period. Even more so people will forget. But every year I'm proven wrong. Wah last year my friends pretended they forgot my birthday then when I saw them singing for me in my class I cried sia.

This year I had a geog test on my birthday (boo) but it doesn't matter cos I had a great day anyway (: my clique surprised me with a chocolate cake a day earlier! They made it themselves and I was really touched :') I really didn't expect it I was going to go buy lunch when they started singing.

Actually I sort of knew something was going on. On Saturday we visited joes house for Hari Raya! Everyone was acting weird. Especially Clara haha. She's from drama club but off stage her acting sucks la. At joes house:

Clara: Kim what time we leaving?

Me: I don't want to leave so early! Maybe 4 or 5?

Clara: I see.. *stares blankly straight ahead for about 10 seconds*

So anyway they were indirectly trying to get rid of me so they could bake my cake HAHA. We played kinect at Joes house! It was my first time. Dance central is so fun :D I like the crank that Soulja Boy dance! And I'm not kidding, but the dancer on the screen wears a hood and he really looks like deva.

Weesheng got me this for my birthday (: a week before he suddenly asked what do girls like cos his "primary school friend asked him what to buy for his girlfriend" damn suspicious right! Then he asked if I like soft toys. When I said they're okay he replied "WHAT DOES OKAY MEAN" hahaha. You're a lousy actor too la :P but thank you (:

Thank you to everyone who wished me, wrote me a letter or got me a gift! You've made me really happy (:

Look what deva gave me a day later! I thought it was someone else's birthday that's why there was a balloon in class ._. So I was quite shocked when he came up to me to give me this! The balloon is still here, after 3 weeks! But it's slowly deflating :(

TK ROAD RUN 2013

Despite the rain, this turned out to be a great day. This year the school decided we'll celebrate teachers day and have the road run on the same day - at bedok reservoir. The plan was to have class picnics and watch performances.. But let's just say that didn't work out well.

I arrived at bedok reservoir at 6.40am (reporting time is 7.20) with Hannah cos my sister had SC duties :< we sat on the swings haha I think after that nobody wants to be our friends anymore sia. When we assembled in our classes for morning assembly I saw that my class had this huge tarp (is that the word?) for a picnic mat. Our mat was literally about 6 times bigger than that of the other classes! Other classes could only put their food on the mat but we could lie down :P

Walked for most of the roadrun (which should be renamed roadwalk considering 90% of tksians stroll) cos my friends are lazy buggers who refuse to move their asses. And lucky us, it started POURING halfway. We walked about 2km in the rain. At first we were all trying to avoid walking in the puddles but after awhile we were all like "screw this shit" and walked through all the damn puddles. I wish I could say we looked cool and like part of a music video, but we didn't. We were cold and wet. But not sad though! I still enjoyed myself (:

When we reached the finish line we went to find shelter. It was an entire school just waiting out the rain. When Mdm Haslinda (our principal) finally announced that the teachers day picnic was cancelled and everyone was dismissed, everyone was so disappointed. A lot of people put in effort to prepare for this picnic and many spent the day before baking and preparing. Even though we were dismissed, most classes still continued with their picnics! My class went to Eric's house which was just opposite bedok reservoir (:

Let me just say that this was one of the most fun outings I've ever been to. I had NO idea my classmates were this wild. We had a party in the function room and celebrated teachers day with Mdm fong and mrs Chen there (: too bad mr tan didn't come he was supposed to attend our picnic!!

I'm ashamed to say that all the food was baked by the guys in my class, and not the girls. But it was really good!!

HAHA I've always wondered what it was like to be the "manslut" of the photo.

We filmed our class video for graduation night today! It was damn fun daphne and I were the directors and we really got into the role :') can't wait to let you all see out work haha!

It was really great to spend time with my classmates (: I think this is our first outing! I think I got to know some of them better today and I've decided, my class is pretty cool. After the teachers left everyone was just lazing around in the function room, chatting and eating. I was having a concert with daphne and Shen Ying haha. Then suddenly someone said "guys lets do the Harlem shake" and i think cos everyone was in the high mood, we did it. It was so bloody funny. Matthew was the guy who started the dance and everyone was trying to act normal at the start and to not laugh. I couldn't help bursting out laughing when I saw my guy classmates take it so seriously and immediately jump out to dance when the cue came!! So everyone was dancing and laughing, it was great!
