These days I've been staying at home avoiding the haze. (Or maybe cos I'm too lazy to go anywhere and I'm using the haze as an excuse) I've been studying, eating, watching movies at home and taking naps yeah that's about it. But my progress has been so slow! Other people are almost done with all their notes and ten year series and I'm struggling to catch up. Okay, I admit I don't study as hard as some people. And I've got only one week left!! I don't know why I'm going so slowly, I don't even use my phone or nap THAT much anymore. This June holiday was suppose to be the time for me to catch up but I'm scared when school starts I'm still not ready. I'm quite behind on my revision so I really have to make this last week count.. I can't believe time is moving so fast. It's June already can you believe that! What happened to all my time?? I have 4 months left to the Os and I'm really, really not ready. And these next four months will freaking zoom by, I know it. I know I will regret next year if I didn't study hard enough but I can't seek to find the motivation to fully dedicate myself to studying.. Oh yeah I know this is completely off topic but while some people are panicking about the haze, I'm surprised to say my parents are taking it pretty easily. I was shocked when my parents said we were going for breakfast on Saturday. I mean, we go out for breakfast together every Saturday but I thought surely the haze would have made this Saturday an exception? I asked my dad and he just firmly replied "you mean just because theres a haze we dont need to eat?" We don't even wear masks because all the masks aren't available. It's kinda weird seeing Singapore so hazy and people wearing masks everywhere. It's almost like you know those zombie movies? Or like a epidemic. Like contagion or resident evil. The windows in my house are all closed and is it weird to say the haze situation is kinda exciting? It's something totally out of the norm and it's interesting to see how Singaporeans react. Oh Kimberly you sadist. I had this tiny hope that the haze would delay school and result it them pushing back the Os but oh, what are the chances. On a side note, Alice Edwin and Edward stopped by in SG!! Okay it was for a few hours only cos they were on a transit to Brisbane. The whole group of us (parents and kids) went to Jumbo Seafood! it's been a long time since all 10 of us sat at the same table. For those who didnt know, I have this group of childhood friends and we've been meeting up every Saturday since we were kids (: our parents were friends in university so that's how we got to know one another. Now we're all grown up, ages ranging from 10-18. After dinner we went to the airport cos the Chois flight was at 1am! So we sat at toast box to pass the time. I taught them a hand game haha and I was so shocked to see the older guys taking it so seriously :') I can't believe that 2 of the guys are going to army next year! One is taking A levels and Elle and I are taking our Os. One of them has already graduated!! We used to have bbqs with piƱatas on national day when we were younger. I've known these guys all my life :') |
